Snowdon, New Year 2009

With Op Rafter (boys weekend,  Dartmoor, 5th – 8th January 2012) soon to be taking place, I came across some photos from our last New Year walk – this time on Snowdon climbing Crib Goch.

For me, it was one of the first times climbing Snowdon in bright sunshine which is unheard of – 9 times out of 10 it’s either been pouring with rain of clagged up with fog. It was a great day out with friends – for some their first time on Snowdon.

Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales (and England) and on days like these get stunning vistas in to England and across Wales – a truly memorable day and I doubt we’ll get such weather next week.
